Way back in the mid 1990's I was selling a testarossa. Some idiot rang up and said he wanted to convert it into a limo.
Needless to say I told him to FO.

Found this down the bottom of the ae page....

Love how he says comes with a spare key. Do you buy a Ferrari that doesnt come with two keys?, You'd really have to wonder who has the other key if it didnt.

Actually..............

they come with 3 keys, 2 black and one red as I recall. Lose the red one and it's a huge issue because that's the master key. I was told you need new ECU's if the red one goes walkabout as the ECU's and red key are mated for life.

Only 2 blacks with my used cars. Be interesting to see when I get a new car.

What model is it?? If it's a 360 and it came with two grey/black keys and a red remote, that's fine also
Everything looks better in carbon fibre

Don't lose them then. no red key, no replacements.
I have all the tech manuals but can't be stuffed digging around to find out how it all works. Been 11 years since I bought my road 360 and the race 360 doesn't have a lock, much less a key :)
