Anyway, I finished for the day. Obviously I wasn't working on any cars, but I did help unload a big fat box of Ferrari parts that arrived.

And now, doing a bit of a Phil, we went to Carl's other workshop and I saw the project he's working on, which is funded by one of our AE members. Very interesting indeed.

Photos of THAT to follow one day soon.....maybe :)

I really liked Carl when I met him.

I found him to be passionate about Ferrari's and he displayed a humble intelligence that is rarely found in this industry.

Plus he was always prepared to listen to and work with me, rather than just telling me how good he was and that I should stick to my day job whilst he went about sucking his own cock!
May the Horse be with you....

What I liked from dealing with Carl is complete transparency. I know how much time exactly was spent on each task, I get the photos of the process, Carl provides regular progress updates on the phone or SMS. That in my eyes makes him stand out from the other workshops/mechanics I've dealt with so far.

I didn't know he works on 360s. Is there no end to his talents? Did he do a good job?

Carl's always ready to help his friends, even if they drive 360s :)
He did a good job, and the bill was pretty reasonable.

It's a bit like an Art museum for beautiful OHOS. Terrible shame that nothing in there actually runs :p

Actually, I witnessed a car being completed and leaving. .... so it does happen!
