Talked to a mate who is Sales Manager for a HSV Dealer in Melbournes west last week and drove his personal demo(Clubby R8,which actually wasn't that bad!).....sales are tough($70k for the demo)..supply of cashed up bogans appears to have dried up???

Never bought a new bogan car ever, always classics, have only ever made money on them.

Don't see the point in buying these sorts of cars anyway, not when you rip 30% of the value off them as soon as you drive it out the door.....

HSV's suit a certain market, i wouldnt put HSV owners into dickhead status
Thank you Goobs, I always thought you were a wise man.

I'm sure Phil was just having a lend.  I'm a poor man and new HSV's is all I can afford as I buy my cars, I don't lease them plus as being a person in manufacturing I like to support local manufacturing companies buying their product. :)  For $80k I think they are good value when comparing a similar spec "new" European car.

In the future I'll have a go at buying a 2nd hand European car for similar money.  Maybe one owned by 360C. :)

If you want to buy one of my toys you had better put your hand up next time I offer  :p
If you miss out it might be years before the mood to sell comes about again ;)

Maybe when you offered the carbon bike I'd had 15 beers then too. ;)  Next time please do it via e-mail so I have it in writing and remember. :D

I go in the CSL every now and then.  Magnificent car.  Still has the race tape in place to eliminate scratching the sills as you enter the car.

For those who don't know this is the carbon bike.

Anyway, as you were, back to HSV's

here lies the problem for AMG and v8 supercars

buy a HSV for 100 k max or an E63 for 300k

the benz will drop, the HSV will drop

time will tell if ereubus are assisting or hindering sales
Meeting women on the Internet? Remember, the more similarities u “magically” have, & the more she agrees with u, the fucking crazier she is.
