It has always amazed me, when it comes to war and killing each other just how much design and development goes into the hardware. Some of the war machines are uber cool, not for the fact that you could wipe out a small village with some of them but because they are so menacing and scary...... and you could wipe up a small village with one...... :p

Anyhoo, just starting up this thread as I came across this little Youtube clip.

So I can own an operational one of these?

Would I need more than a small firearms licence?

I think starting that generator up in the backyard could upset the neighbours.

I used to flat with a guy that work at ADI (Australian Defence Industries). used to go to the psitol range with him on the specified days where he could fire what ever he wanted, it was a clsoed day shared with the cops. cops were always looking over jealously at the AK47 and tommy gun etc...

also spent a day with him on the tank range at pukapunyal testing some piece of equipment, was unreal, a 2km long firing range. first shot blew up the piece of equipment, not meant to happen the shell fell short of the target by about 3 meters.

Btw guys, if you like guns.... You should download the show 'sons of guns'

It's like American chopper, but in a gun shop. Awesome show, 16 episodes out so far.
