LOL - so it's doing the rounds again is it.

This has nothing to do with texting and driving, the crash happened in 2005 - the truck was parked on the side of the road due to break down and it is believed that the driver was asleep at the wheel or had some sort of medical issue. There is no skids marks behind the Corvette so it went straight in at speed.

They love using this photo to claim it was due to Texting and driving..................

The very similar accident that killed that AFL footballer about a decade or so ago was the reason our trucks now have the barrier that extends down below the tray line to mid rear wheel level.
