Would any of us live to tell the tale?

30 years ago I would expect to.... these days, I doubt it.

I'd order mine in red, and put shields on it.

I guess Mark and Scott would put stripes on theirs...

Jims would have black brake calipers...

And PP's?

His would be fitted with a machine-gun, so he could take pot shots at every one else

Hope you grabbed these off of Looney, perfect sized shields.

In a weird way I like it, and kind of want to have a go on one.

HOWEVER
A hip 20 year old might be able to get away with flitting between lectures on one, but a balding 40 something guy with no style lurching pretty much out of control past a bunch of teenagers on his way to Woolies would present possibly the biggest target for ridicule and rotten tomatoes ever devised...

:(

That's my fear too.  I've done plenty of rides on a Segway but came a cropper on the broadway at Venice Beach last year, much to the amusement of my daughter who was with me.

Indeed. And I suspect a Segway would be easier to ride than one of these.

In a badass squadron of Airwheels, I'd be there (somewhere in the middle), but on my own to the local shops?
Probably not.

You've given me an idea. Group buy, Sunday morning runs - when we lose our licences. :p

Good idea.

However, may need to make them "plains" runs, rather than the "hills"

Can you imagine going downhill on one of those things?!

:o
