OK - problem I have is this.

I have a column in an Excel spread sheet which contains a description and a cost, looks like this:

"Trenching services;Jo Blogs: $1000"

Is there a way to extract the "$1000" out of that cell and copy it to another cell????

There is thousands of entries so doing it manually is going to suck!!!!!

"Text to Column" and use "$" as the delimiter. Basically it means when it sees a dollar sign it will put everything after it into a new column.
