Wow, this idea is awesome if it's really going to be possible to do as it's supposed.  Just check out the website and poke around...

Basically, you download some custom CAD software, design a nic-nak that you need created, and it can be made.  Got the exact measurements of an NLA car part?  Or got a brilliant idea for an invention but don't have the first clue about how to prototype it...

Very interesting concept, there's so many little things in life where you wish there was something which fit in that spot, I'll be thinking about this one over the next few weeks/months...

Too cool!

Now I can resurrect all those ideas I've had along the way that weren't possible because I don't own a machine shop.

Some of the stuff is quite pricey - especially if you are just after one for yourself.  However once you go and order a few hundred it becomes very cheap...  So it's best use is if you have an idea for something you know you can flog.

And looks like you still need a pretty good understanding of what material you need to use, and what production method is required - most of which I either never knew, or forgot years ago. :(

Too sophisticated for me.  I only had basic Lego.  What is this "tampons" add-on you speak of?
