Really good graphics and very realistic but not enough tracks.

Same here, it's too much the same as GT4 for me.....

I felt the same 5 years ago with GT4 vis-a-vis GT1/2 and barely got 25% through, so I haven't really played much GT for the decade so this is a nice whack of nostalgia.

For me though what gave GT1/2 longevity was I lived with my old man and we were fiercely competitive about our lap records and stuff, doubt it'll be that way this time around.

Although the photo mode is looking like some time-killing fun.

just picked up a copy so will see how it goes.... $77 for what is meant to be one of the best games ever.... seems a little cheap.

initial impressions are that its pretty much just a re-hashed version of gt4. it looks and feels the same, sure the menus are different but the graphics and game play seem the same.
im not happy with the AI though, as mentioned above, they seem to have their racing line set in stone and if they are quicker, they will just drive straight into you, spearing you off the track.

i like the gokart feature, although very twitchy and easy to spin.
the points/level up feature is a good idea, encourages people to do all the events in order.
