i wanted to ask the question to all those with iPhones, or have come accross iPhones - what do you think are the best iPhone apps? Or do you have any other cool apps worth mentioning?

considering there are so many apps out there (not those apps mondi :p), i thought this thread would be a good opportunity for us to share our thoughts/experiences on the many apps on offer and for us to learn some new things from each other.

someone mentioned trapster on another car forum. i had a look at the app, it looks pretty sweet if you are in a big enough city where enough people use it.

So are you telling us *you* are the only app we can't get on our iPhones?

back on topic. i was having a look at the TomTom GPS navigation app on the internet.

apparently there is an app that you can install into your phone and use it with the TomTom iPhone car kit which has a built-in GPS to boost performance. the car kit also allows hands-free calling, voice instructions and has a cable you can plug into it to charge your phone.

http://iphone.tomtom.com/en-us/index.html

i'm pretty interested but if you have to buy both the app and the car kit, it looks as though it could be fairly pricey.

One of the first apps I downloaded was a chainsaw app - I found it by searching for steak apps, and it promised hilarity every time you sat down to a meal by being able to use your iPhone to indicate the toughness of the meat... sadly, as we all know the iPhone's speaker is too pathetic to be heard amongst anything louder than a bunch of Japanese secretaries rubbing their pantyhosed legs together.
