Guys I have a MacBook Pro and for some reason in the past few weeks it seems to have really slowed down.

For example, when I go to scroll down a page I get the little spinning rainbow circle.  Click on a new page same thing.

I've closed all background applications but it's still doing it.

Any ideas and what I should do or any other things to look for?  Thanks in advance for any help.

I've been having similar issues for a while now. But I have a feeling it's because I'm still running Maverick.

At least something is arriving on time for you Mondi. :p  How's the Mustang going mate. ;)

Thanks guys.  Really frustrates me the whole IT industry.  They just change things for the sake of changing.  Same happens with Windows on my work PC.  Outlook worked perfectly for years, NO, we need to change it.

Re Maverick/Sierra.  I have 10.9.5 if that means anything.

you're on mavericks

probably time to upgrade to the new mac book pro, however with the newest models the 13inch isnt supposed to be well appointed with features compared to the 15 inch.  Mines a 2014 model, so probably time for an upgrade later this year
