This was cool though...

Yeah same, spent a lot of time in the last 20 years casually studying quantum theory, eternally fascinating, and it's nearly always misapplied. But this is superconductivity yeah? At least its nothing like I've ever seen, the difference between having an object that can "float" I sort of have a handle on, but this looked as he said, "locked" relatively into place in space.

Yeah, the floating superconductor bit is fairly easy to understand, high school physics really. Its the 'locked' in space bit that I  haven't seen before.

If only the superconductors didn't need to be so damn cold :rolleyes:
