You must have been an early adopter. The rates for new connections are nothing like that.

Yes home system is still on 66 cents, hence no batteries yet.


Workshop is on wholesale rates which I can't remember off the top of my head will have to look it up but I think 8 cents rings a bell.

The rest of the factories on the block use the power during the day and no one is there during the night, unless I go to my workshop and play. I use the power during the day on the weekends but there is still a bit of power that goes into the grid.

Once my rates go to shit, I will go the battery path.........

They are about $1000 each and act as cells in one big battery. Each individual one weighs 76kg :eek:

Photo was taken before control room was finished. They are now in a big rack on the LHS and the room is enclosed.
