It's got to new levels.

Had a parcel being delivered to local PO
They offered Australia Post tracking
Got delivered this morning but just got an email from USPS saying parcel couldn't be delivered click here.

These pricks must fool millions of people.

Dude, those have been doing the rounds for years. I can't believe people still get fooled.

This was very targeted and was just when I was using Aust Post parcel tracking , no other time, so they must hack their system...

Coincidence. I get 20 of those daily, each supposedly from a different shipping carrier.

I get them all the time as well. And some of them are timed perfectly with packages that arrive on the door step. But it's just coincidence.

I also get at least 6 emails from Paypal a day saying I have received funds,  about the same from Instagram even though I don't have an account, 3 or 4 a day from Facebook/Twitter that are bullshit, a few from different phone companies and at least one a day from Holly Valance wanting my body!

And then there is the Viagra, diet, extreme muscle growth, etc, etc, etc emails.........

So I book a nights accommodation in Brisbane next week through an online company.  A little while later I'm on the yourtv guide site and up pops an advert for accommodation in Brisbane from Bookings.com which I am registered with.  I assume this has to do with cookies, but pretty scary stuff.
