After that last email I just quit the internet for a while.

Try explaining complicated changes to the function of a web site to someone in Indonesia with limited English, brain haemorrhage stuff.

While I was overseas I noticed some problems on my site. Every time I tried to visit it I got a fatal error that my php memory limit was exceeded.

I didn't know anything about that stuff so I looked it up and it seems my providers memory limit is 96mb.

Is that very little these days or average?

I also found out that my gallery plugin for my site (next-gen gallery) all of a sudden was the cause as it seems to be a heavy plugin.

Their support says that my provider should up the memory limit and if they won't, change providers.

My question(s)... is 96mb very low? If I were to change providers, who would a good one in oz be? And how hard would it be to get the website running on a different provider? Is it just a matter of copy/paste all the files via ftp?

For now I have downgraded the next-gen gallery to an earlier version but later on no doubt there'll be some compatibility issues when the rest of my site upgrades to newer versions.
