Thinking of upgrading some 1080p plasma screens at home. Been 7 years since purchasing.

What's the best?

LG Oled 4k?

Samsung?

Sony?

Pioneer?

What tvs will be out next year?

I did the same. Just picked up the 78" curved Samsung for the lounge area. Its a monster but very easy to use and has a great remote (has like 5 buttons and thats it) with a pointer that you use like a mouse. Its connected to the net and brilliant for Netflix etc. 4k UHD etc

Looked at OLED but they didn't have big ones at the time and price would have been stupid.

Need 1 65 inch and 1 55 inch for now. Anything bigger doesn't work for the room sizes.

Videopro have dropped $500 off each LG size, and that's before haggling.

Problem is if I wait another year, tvs will get better and cheaper again, but if I think like this then I'll wait forever.

I don't get this curved screen thing. How's it work at home? When I've seen them on display, they've always been a bit distorted when you move off centre.

I love my car.

Buy Sony, I am kind of ashamed to say, because nobody should need that many TV's but I have 12 of them, from 40 inch up to their flagship 85 inch which is custom order ( fantastic TV).

I have the 65 inch with built in speakers possibly the best sound you can get in a TV unless you go B&O but B&O is $30k plus.

I recommend Sony.
