LG do an 84" model for $13k which I believe is 98% the same panel. But I know someone with a bad experience with the LG.
Let me start with a huge disclaimer, I know nothing about electronics
From what I was told the Sony has a proprietary tech in their panels where the LEDs are controlled electronically and they can be open and shut via software, the system in the other panels is "mechanical" they are using flaps to cover and uncover the LEDs, after a while you will start seeing "ghosting" on the screen.
I must say the blacks on the 85 inch Sony is fantastic, they are pure black, I haven't seen that on many TVs and I looked at every single panel on the market in that range.
The B&O isn't as good IMO, they use Samsung panels, but the speaker setup is ridiculous, unbelievable to think that all that sound comes directly from the TV.
From memory the B&O TV was about $35k, if would've been a bit cheaper for me to get that since I got their speakers to go with my Sony, the B&O TV has everything built in to make the external speakers run, with the Sony I had to buy all that gear separately but I've done it because I much prefer the picture quality of the Sony panel, also if I want to change the panel in the future now I can. with the B&O you have to get rid of everything if a better panel comes along.
