I got the official notification today that my employer is dropping Blackberry.  I love my BB, but I have to change.  The standard choices are:

* iPhone 5 iOS

* Samsung Galaxy S4 Android

* Nokia Lumia 625 Windows Mobile

I don't like Apple products which therefore leaves me with the latter too.  Which way should I go, or what other options do people recommend?

If I could negotiate another model/type what would you recommend?

Ideally I would like to easily read (and keep separate) my work email from my hotmail.  Plus I use it for photos a lot and the odd video (playing, not recording)  I am not big in to apps.

S4 is still the top phone along with the note 3, which is slightly better spec and has a clever stylus, as long as you're OK with the size.

HTC one is well liked too, but doesn't have expandable memory or removable battery.
I love my car. Buy your own

Nexus 5 (LG Hardware) is best bang for your buck and is the latest Android product. $399 for the 16GB model outright.

HTC One has the coolest chassis (similar to the iPhone 5) and is brilliant but getting old. New one due at the end of March. Pretty expensive.

LG G2 is similar to the Nexus 5 but has a 5.2 inch screen vs. 4.95 inch on the Nexus. The G2 also has a bigger battery. New LG Curve (has a curved screen) is apparently coming out here shortly.

If you want big go for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. - 5.7 inch screen.

I have HTC one. Wife has the One X.

Both are near faultless, although recently, I've been having issues with contacts. I can't find a max, but I think I'm over its max, and some have gone missing.

You can run the standard mail client or use the outlook app for your personal email and use the GMAIL app for your work email.

Not sure which BB you're coming from, but if you're not big on apps on a BB that doesn't mean you won't be an an android/iOS device.
