I think companies like Universal Records and people as such pay an uber amount of money to be able to get extra promotion and their videos on the front page....

Well - there are people clicking the ads here (they're not shown on the forum/gallery to members) and it's about getting enough to start covering the hosting costs (finally!).  Compare the few thousand visitors a day we get here vs the traffic they get...

Yeah - but I'd prefer it like that, if it's a vid you don't care to watch in hi-def, just click anywhere on the vid *except* the play button and it will take you to the youtube page where you can watch the normal version.
