The rather pedestrian stock B7 S4 suspension is starting to annoy me...

Looking at Eibach springs and Koni adjustable struts.  Thoughts?

Anything else I should replace while I'm in there?  I'm told the upper bushes tend to get shagged in the Audis...

thought about coilovers? Spring and shock combo gives a more comfortable ride but coilovers will improve handling and it will allow change height without too much issue

I recommend Kw v2 or weitec Hicon TX which will give similar hardness in ride, kw v3 will probably give a more comfortable ride but are quite pricey

I had Tein coilovers on my 200SX.  A big advantage of coilovers is lightweight, and on an 1800kg car that's not going to make a huge difference.  The other is height adjustments, which I'm just not interested in.  (I want to keep std ride height)

I'm looking for improved roadholding and adjustable rebound.

I hear Bilstein struts are good stuff, but I'm wondering how much better they are for the drastic price difference.

with high end coilovers such as kw v3 will give Damping technology with individually adjustable rebound- and compression technology

the s4 i drove seemed unnecessarily hard for the ride quality it had, personally it would be coilovers for me
