Are we bidding yet!?    :D
Nah, no bidding or offers to buy.....it doesn't look/sound like he's interested in selling, which is fine :)

If he wants to ever sell, he's got my details.

I have recently been offered another SLE out of Melboune, which is absolutely MINT.....probably one of the best SLE's in Oz.

Love a car hunt mate, good luck reviving the memories!
C'mon, do it!

Thanks, Al! It is fun, isn't it?

It's great to see it again though, I must admit.

I have successfully done it with numerous plates as well. SA "427" took 5 years to track down, but persistence definitely pays off :)

Nah not for sale just letting u guys know it's still alive :)

Appreciate it as a spectator   :)

Out of pure interest though - what are these worth now, have they crept up in value?
C'mon, do it!

Buyer or Sellers price? ;)

This particular example, if it's only had a re spray (which parts look incorrectly painted) and nothing else done since I last saw it, would achieve maybe $8-10k.....give or take a few k. IIRC, Pitty did tell me that this car is not an original 5L build car.

Very good - mint, low km original 5L (L31), 2 tone examples may attract premiums of up to $20-25k....maybe more.

Really, only the original 5L 1983 trimatic models are worth good $$$$

Thanks for that, so they've not shot through the roof.

I had a peek at a 240Z during the week... when did they become a 50K car!?!?!?!!
C'mon, do it!
