Knowing these cars ... I reckon $75k is a nice buy ... if it has no issues ... $50k if it has issues.

Yeah, I'd been communicating with the seller ... not sure it is truly sold ... but I think he wants eyes off it.  We discussed what was wrong with the car and what work had been done.  New owner is still going to carry risk on the engine liners which haven't been done.
