... mainly looking for:

- Resell value in 5-10 years time
- Rarity
- Best value for money
- Any problems with either cars that I should really look out for? eg. Clutch issue with the gallardo and the rear main seal issue with the GT3RS...

5-10 years resale for you is 5-10 months, so you will loose the same amount.

Bit of a thread revival but 4 years on have people's opinions changed?

I'm starting to look around to see if there is an SE manual (preferred choice is white) otherwise thinking about a standard GT3 rather than the RS version. There seems so be more Gallardo's available (albeit not manuals) than GT3's.

This will be first fast car purchase for quite some time as I moved into motorcycles a while ago, and for a long time lost interest in cars to be honest. Getting the itch for nice car back and aiming around April time to find the right one.

If you like driving fast on a circuit or mountain road then buy the GT3.

If you prefer Italian passion and presence then get the Lambo.

My pick would be the GT3 hands down.
