its been fully restored by the previous owner who deals in F1 and CanAm cars. Engine is new with 25 hours of running left in it (25 hours at 10,500 rpm, which is about 6 years worth of running the way I drive). Gearbox being H pattern Hewland is new, clutch is also new. Brakes are carbon and rotors and pads have just been replaced, master cylinder was just rebuilt. Original paintwork on the car as per when it raced in 1988.

As per in the today just bought file:

Here are some happy snaps of the car

Its got a Ford DFZ V8, rev limit is set at 12,000 RPM, motor has a 25 hour window until a rebuild, at 10,000 RPM that can be extended to 28-30 hours. Gearbox is Hewland H pattern, it runs 110 octane fuel and has AP carbon brakes and clutch, it possibly the last F1 that is simple. I looked at many models including the Williams collection that is being sold off, the last car sold was for 900,000 pounds but it was Damon Hill's Championship winning car. Also looked at turbo cars of the era but turbo is too unreliable, anything after say 1998 its gets complex and anything after 2010 is too difficult. This Lola has a Motec system hence data is easily acquired. Many of the middle 80-early 90's cars need DOS laptops for programming, good luck on finding someone who knows DOS (except Ash). Hoping its here by end of January and given is provenance will be admitted to next years AMF and Anzac Day Historics.
