Perhaps the Model X will have a lux pack and be comparable?

Nobody does luxury quite like the English, especially the Americans. There is nothing wrong with the Tesla interior when fitted with the upspec option. It's probably as good as American cars get; but the full monty Rangie is now close to as good as English cars get, and that is worlds best IMO.

I am not sure I can wean myself off the uber luxury and comfort of the big Rangie Mark. The Tesla is trumps ATM; but once the whizz bang WOW factor of the technology wears off I suspect I will reach for the RR keys in the morning.

What was wrong with yours in the end?  If they are ordering parts it sounds like hardwarwe rather than software?

It's a loom issue.

Re luxury - I'm back in the Rolls and enjoying the superb interior but I'm missing the drivetrain responsiveness and smoothness of the Tesla. I love the way it steps off the line instantly and the lack of gear changing.

You've turned into the car equivalent of an ice addict.

I love my car. Buy your own

The general public is a terrible barometer of taste. Trust your own sensibilities.

I wonder how high they are when fully raised.

Since getting the G55 I've begun noticing how many Sydney car parks have sub 2m high ceilings!
C'mon, do it!

The X isn't doing it for me at this stage. But then I've never really got hot for any SUV...
