In the good old days, a driver would drop off a load, and we would exchange pallets, the driver wouldn't want to take them cause it would be extra work, and would say "put it on the next truck".

And yet we have to keep harassing one of our tenants to throw out / clean up the spare pallets they accumulate every month.  Who knew they were such a rare commodity!

I think this year will be a testing time for sharemarket investing.

I'm pegging my returns on oil this year. 

Amazon's entry into australia at some stage this year will be a test to existing retailers who IMHO havent does enough to adjust their business models to be able to fight the threat of amazon.
