Hahahaha! Oh man that article is just pure GOLD!

The owner from Yagoona lent it to a friend from Auburn - that just has fail written all over it!

I bet the car is worth more than the house it is parked outside of!

Hahahahaha! Worth $150 000? I think not.

Well that is how much it cost them after it was already written off as a repairable write off. It is the car I was talking about in the spotted thread on post #11492 http://aussieexotics.com/forum/cars/spotted-thread-414.11490.html where I said "If it is a black 2003/2004
merci that i am thinking of, then it isn't much of a waste. It might already have a lease on life after having been on the insurance write off register already...
"

Also to rub salt in the wounds they did a clutch on it @ $17k/or $12k a bit hazy on details now,  no more than 6 weeks earlier :)
Must have been the car I mentioned in the spotted thread which I saw launching from the lights on Silverwater road on Friday night (next suburb to Auburn where the driver lives). Driver must ahve had the car for the weekend.

No great loss, the car was a hunk of junk (I saw it up close well before this happened, even took pics of it), The owners are also not the type of guys you'd like to owe money to if you get my drift...
You can say I'm wrong, but my garage doesn't agree with that statement!!!

If you don't work hard for your money, you don't care about it...

That's not 100% true but yeah...................I know some guys who have had it handed to them and do care a lot.

My thoughts exactly, as soon as I read the suburbs the owner and driver were from I knew this wasn't your average Joe Millionaires car. I bet they would be more worried about all the media attention they are getting rather than the car itself.
