...tit colour the rims.

LOL - reminds me of when I used to buy a 7-pack of assorted colour Rio undies at K-mart, when it scanned through the checkout it came up on the screen as "UNDERWEAR - 7 PACK - ASS COLOUR" :D

Reading that review carefully, I couldn't find a single driving impression - or even a suggestion that he'd driven the car.  Why not let one of the guys at the launch who actually drove the car say what they thought?

Yeah haven't found much in the way of a real review/test yet - have to wait for Evo/Top-Gear. :?  Haven't checked LamboPower lately - surely some of the yanks have got some by now.

It's wierd. There is an article in the oz version of Top Gear, but once again, they were driving it but not a lot was said about the driving experience. They say that the steering is better then it was and the gearbox is a lot better but not a lot more. They love it though.

And I'll still have a balloon white one thanks :D

Right Karcher has done it again. A very nice article in this months Motor (out today). He actually talks about the driving experience.

Better steering overall, more-compliant suspension, better E-gear and more homogenous handling are his big points,

His final words.....
It achieves the fusion of classic showmanship and ability, of presence and agility, of extravaganve and desirability. It is, in other words, a masterpiece.

Still have one in white, actually the exterior spec of the car in the shoot with some slight changes to the interior.

IMSA boosts the Gallardo LP560 to 584hp

The newly updated Gallardo LP560 has only been out for a few months, but already the tuners are having their way with it. IMSA is one of the first, with its version gently massaging output of the car’s V10 to add 24hp (18kW), bringing the total to 584hp (435kW).

The modifications are, for the most part, tasteful and discreet, which is a difficult thing to manage with a starting platform as brash and iconic as the Gallardo. Most of what has been done to the car is under the skin, though the rear wing is replaced with a new carbon fiber unit and a set of well-filling alloy wheels with black spokes and polished lips have been added.

A new suspension setup has been fitted, to improve upon the car’s already capable handling. The unspecified engine tweaks - most likely simple air flow improvements and a mild ECU tune - breathe more easily through the new exhaust system, which the maker says improves the already brilliant tone of the Italian powerplant.

No word on pricing of the package, but if you’ve got a Gallardo in the garage and you’d like a mild upgrade to its performance spec, IMSA may be the place to start.

It's well known in racing now, that the Lambo gallardo engine is weak in the rods.

Many GT3 race cars, which use std engines, have had total failure.

I hope these tune ups that give 50-60BHP more than a Gallardo have dealt with the rod problem.
