We had the MY13 Aventador (few changes - wheels, stop/start, cylinder deactivation, recalibrated gearbox etc) for a few hours last week - here are some photos. It was a rushed shoot with minimal gear (all natural light) - not ideal for a black car in the midday sun, but a bit of a theme of late!

Tbh, the colour kills it for me. The pics are great but how much can you do with black.

The car must look sensational in the flesh, however it doesn't really show in the pics (to me).

Not your fault at all, we've all had bad experiences shooting black cars in the sun!

The speedometer shot is absolutely amazing though, love the clarity!!!

It's the interior shot that does it for me.  The rest of the car really does scream out for some strategically placed strobes to highlight it's lines.

^ Hopefully I get another chance with some more time and I will definitely use them.

Hence why I hate black cars! On a run with them at the moment though, got a DB9 shortly which is the same again.

Take a black car out of the sun, use an underground carpark with back fill lighting and you will have a winner. I had the same problem with my carbon bikes you need to control the light, take it underground and gives you the time to make the shot.

I saw it, liked it, my comment would've been along the lines of "umm ahhh hawwt" esp the shot of the cluster so I refrained from posting  :p
