Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, geez you're a very nice man aren't you.

Did I bother you.

We spoke about this a while back when you got your knickers in a note over Roger.

no i'm not..never claimed to be.

errrrrrr...no...you just sounded like a bit of a fool.

no idea what you're talking about.

I don't think anyone cares if your knowledge is personal or not,

just by writing what you wrote you cast doubts over the shops integrity,

you might as well put all the details so it can be decided whether it a problem or not.

well maybe no one else cares, but i do, and that's all that matters.

duh..you don't say.

well i don't want to. you don't seem too bright. what if what i've heard is untrue and then sandro finds out about it? apart from god knows what legal implications there might be, it also wouldn't be very nice.

if what i heard is true, then it's a problem. caveat emptor.

his is a community that people use to know if someone is good, bad or indifferent. You would earn more respect by telling what you know.

Instead of trying to be mysterious and subtle, that may work on the women but does nothing for us.

you're delusional if you think i want or need anyone's respect.

i'm not trying to be mysterious.....seems the problem here is you for reading into it more than there is. i'm pretty sure i've said enough for anyone to have a bit of a think before going blindly into anything.

as an outsider, that's all i can do.

now scurry off and do something useful....like contribute to this thread with some sort of knowledge, if you have any.

I've had no issues with Euro Automotive but while we are talking servicing options, Danny Romeo at Solitaire in Adelaide is exceptionally good (for Adelaide lurkers).

I think Jags and Astons are his speciality but he's done a great job on my Lambos over the years.  A real pro who cares.

some of them would put even phil to shame

 :lovies: :lovies:

sniff....

thats the nicest thing you've ever said about me

sniff sniff.

I could service Gallardo, I do prep the race GT3 car and I know the mechanicals intimately....

But I'm not an eggspurt on Lambo like I am Ferrari.

Give it a crack though.... it's all just wogbolts.

Nobody has the Lambo diagnostic tool outside Lambo though.

But I don't have the current SD3, (only have an SD2) for the Ferraris either... I just take the car to the dealer myself for diagnostic scans and codes... The Ferrari dealer doesn't even charge me, or not much anyway, as they're happy to sell me parts.

Only trouble with P1 stuff is they don't want the car off the road more than minimum possible, and I just don't work like that. There's only 1 of me... for better or worse!

i'll tell you why, you half wit, so that he knows there's SOMETHING and he can make enquiries. at least he knows to beware and to go in with eyes open.

duh

*shakes head*

why the hell would i bad mouth someone i've never actually dealt with?

maybe you just don't understand subtle.

Thanks everyone.
I'm sorry - I never meant this to turn into another eFight. I just wanted to know if there were options.

Mark: the frustrations have never been at the 'spanner' level, more at the 'desk' part of the operation. Things taking waaaay too long (6-weeks and counting for a clutch change!), delivery timelines not being met, no communication if there are issues etc

I am VERY picky, and so far I have been VERY happy with Sandro.
His Lambo tech is the ex-chief Lambo Tech from Lambo Melb.

There are always Countach's and Murcie's in the workshop there.
You make something idiotproof, they'll make a better idiot.

I'd still beware...but that's just me.

no communication if there are issues

Yeah so why do so many do this?  I've found panel shops are especially bad at not keeping their customer in the loop.

I wonder if its part of their apprenticeship training?

you've gotta be nuts to take your pride and joy to anywhere other than the authorised factory Lambo service centre.... just not worth the potential drama..
