crikey!

where to start....

Ok, it's 15" wheels and XWXs or nothing.... that's if you want to drive a nice car that feels as it should and steers like a car (not truck), and Ferrucio would love you in a way a Bull loves a cow.

You mean like "oyster sauce" extraction and insertion prurience?
[Chortle]
We deal with that professionally in course of day to day involvement.................

And yeah, that IS the way I want it.
So that's how it's going to have to be.
That's why it's copping full suspension & shock bushings and etc plusssss all rubber flexibles [including rotoflex - same as 365GTB4, I'm told] - as routine of sorting. I bought it well - "stole" it in fact - and now have brought it up to where it ought to be.
[Yes, I do have the pieces]
The drive home was a tour.
2,000km @ a max of 2200 on the tacho, plus four days of specialist workshop/s, progressively.
Amazingly, NIL enroute sorting.
Especially considering the mileage that it hasn't done across the years.
Fortunately I know most of the "shopping @ Sussan" parts interchangeabilities, and parts availabilities, or have people who do.
I will strop it when I know I can.
Done so much the last three months the battery is down .
[Punch head for slack]

8.32s were not bought to Oz, mine is rust free and from japan. 60k km only, as new in many ways, amazing car.
Magic! If possible, @ some stage I'd appreciate a look close-up. I haven't seen one in the flesh.

I'm located on the internet, or by pm, or if you had to randomly guess (or read my profile like you have already ;) ), Braeside, VIC.

I'm in CQ. Bit lonely as regards exotics, altho' surveyor mate does have Signor Ducati's best current race-bike-for-road and I did used to have [to be less than grammatic] MotoGuzzi's "Eagle on the Gauge" lightweight first production series 850 Le Mans I [106 PS in 1975......................] but sold it on..................

Thanks for the info and I will suss sources for the Michies. It can't be more abrupt and unpredictable that on the stuff it's on.
[Might even use the white paint-stick on 'em....................................]

you'll find XWXs to be beautifully smooth, progressive and actually very quick to drive on. WHEN NEW.

They only last for around 7 years though, and most peoples only experience of them is by driving on 15, 20 or even 25 yr old tyres as the car typically doesn't go far enough to wear them out, so they go over age.

new XWS are a joy, the steering weight will be light, the rolling resistance is low, and grip is surprisingly good, with perfect telegraphy of breakaway and recovery.

Funny enough, I've actually got some here .............on Simmons Metric 5-slot wheels Tony S offered to change to Fourteens or fifteens back years ago..................
Well over age, won't fit.
I'd forgotten about them......................
They were on a 500bhp wrecked drag ute we transposed the working guts of to an old ZJ 351 Fairlane.
They handled that quite easily.
In fact, I was surprised, considering the previous experience.

Ta, eh.

Lamborghini Espada was my first taste of supercars - saw one in my little hometown in NZ when I was about 10 years old and I was smitten for life. There's one for sale on carsales at the moment. I'm still tempted
Dream It. Drive it!

That's the white restored S II on Car Point mitt das rott upholstery and trim.
Was $82.5, now $79.5.
Why not!
It's had the work done......................
Like real-estateys tell you about land...............they're not making any more.
I think there's twenty-three total in Oz.
Or thereabouts.
Can't recall where I got that from. Would be Paul Placzek, @ Classic, or Henry @ Lolita/Chauvel Mtrs as was, I would reckon.
Of 1224 total production, Ones thru Threes.

Hi,
The white Espada on Carpoint is mine. I took it for a blast today with other some other old chaps from Scuderia del Penninsula. A beautiful 308GT4 (gee they are under rated), 101 Giulietta Sprint, a Montreal, some 105 spiders and coupes all in convoy. I have an eye on the white Testa at Shannons in Sydney on 20/2. It was at Italia Motori for a while. Any information on the condition of that car?
Cheers
Phil

Love the Mondial.

The Testa? None, Dude.
I bought the grey one Unique Cars did the issue on, but knew what I was buying as a result of enquiries to the old ones I know that I've mentioned, and who knew what it was and in exactly what condition.
Which it proved to be.
I let him start it, looked for the black from the exhausts, drove it, bought it, and drove it home as stated.
As a result of which I have stolen a magnificient "barn find" which is now re-fettled up to where it ought to be regards the o/a condition.
Oh! And the reason I did was, on a 3pm peg of the Thursday immediately preceding "Black Friday" on the ASX I liquated to cash EVERYTHING I had in shares outside the co-complement aspect of my super and saved 26% the Friday, and some 62% by opening the Monday following.
Hence the Espada. It @ least will hold value.
Good luck with the Testa, but remember, they're a BITCH regards the handling, and you'd better be Porsche-fast, or faster.
OK!
