Invariably it is some Super Mario whose cousin owns a smash repair shop in the outer western suburbs of Sydney/Melbourne who thinks repairing an exotic is the same as the taxi's they normally repair in the shop. In 12 months time they will have bought a few 2nd hand bits from eBay, maybe bodged a bit of the repair and then come to the realisation that they are in over their heads. The car will then be sold to the next Super Mario at a substantial loss. In another 12 months time their will be another couple of eBay parts and an even dodgier repair done before buyer number 2 realises he is in over his head..... rinse and repeat :p

I would love a dollar for every time that I have seen this happen.

If you buy at the right price no risk at all, in fact it's better than money in a straight car.

Well I have sold two Ferrari's a 360 and the 2012 458 both with damage made good money on the 360 and smashed it on the 458 it's gone overseas. Piss weak $ was a bonus. Like I said you buy right it's a no brainer. To me it's just stock and I can make a few parts on the way.

got told it's back for sale.

Maybe now it will sell for $100

There is two on carsales for around 300K

Silly to buy for 200K by the time you put money to fix it, it wil cost more than buying a good one that's not been smash.

With the new Perf out and the stnd Huracan having been out a few years anyone fancy doing some crystal ball future values of where they think Mk1 superleggera's will be heading? Do we think they will drop around the low $200k mark in the next 18-24 months?
