Just getting back to the topic, it may pay to talk to these guys as I think they have a pre-engineered "pedal box" that may work. They do a replica which I understand to be of high quality, unless anyone else knows anything about them???

http://supercars.net.au/contactus.htm

They also do their replicas in LHD and RHD versions so that may help as well. Any body heard of these guys before???
Any feedback as to the replicas that they build??

If you rerquire any info on VASS and engineers, just yell.  :)

P.S. sorry if my comment offended, I misunderstood Ash's point.

Slow boat from the USA is around 8 weeks, cos' it goes all over the place before it comes here.

Fast boat is anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks, but it costs more to have the container go Fast boat.

In my experience - from purchase of a car over in the US to landed here and cleared from customs is around 3 to 4 months on average.

If the container is low priority it can and often is unloaded in China and can be sorted there for 4 weeks before a boat comes past with room to fit it on, coming here.

....far out....i'd take it the slow boat is always the "cheaper" method?
i thought it would be like planes, where they have particular routes and only stop at certain ports.

I think I saw in another thread Dean's car had landed?

Did you get it converted?

Got some ballpark numbers to throw around as an example for other folks thinking the same route?
