I reckon it would be close around a track. Brakes, suspension, tyres have played a big role in the last 15 years. Straight line drag would be interesting though.

I reckon it would be close around a track. Brakes, suspension, tyres have played a big role in the last 15 years. Straight line drag would be interesting though.

You'd think that around a track, the SV would have the F1's measure (for the reasons you've stated).  Straight line drag, my money would be on the McLaren F1.

Yeah, I certainly remember it was wearing numberplates!  GTR-???

i read a thing about the mclaren f1 last year in motor magazine and apparently mclaren had a upgrade for the f1 where is would get 691bhp over its 620 before, carbon ceramic brakes, 63kgs lighter so its weighs 1077kgs, apparently the top speed will be significantly over 250mphs(according to mclaren), a few changes to the chassis, bodywork changes like removal of the automatic brake and balance aerofoil system as well as the active underbody air management
system, 0-100 2.9.
