Forget selling it or scamming anyone here.

You need special licence to import this car.

Anything newer than 1988 needs this special licence.

No one here has that.

If they do they will not pay $75K  for the car.

well, I've got property in greece, I can drive it when I'm there

but surely the locals should be able to buy it -  they havent paid tax for so many years, there's plenty of cashed up people there

I have had it on sale for a few months there now. There is a registered Lambo Specialist that is taking care of it whilst i am here i Dubai. Through them I have had a few people very interested but did not come up with the cash.

I don't understand it... things are pretty bad i Europe, especially Greece and Cyprus as well as the UK. This is why i am trying in Australia as the economy and market there is still good.

Greece is LHD, Cyp is RHD, not much of an issue but just more annoying in Greece to drive a RHD car.  How firm is the price and what info has the car got, milage, service history etc... Does it have any extras? Does it have the front suspension lift? Relatives of mine in Crete with a 2005 Gallardo (without suspension lift) said they have trouble getting their Lambo onto the car feries untill the ferries are nearly full and have sunk a little into the water... something to do with clearance.

By the way what is/was the numberplate of your car? Was it IKI5151????  Are you selling it through George Lymbrakis?
You can say I'm wrong, but my garage doesn't agree with that statement!!!

Hmm has been on for a while...

By the look of the creases in the side of the seat, it has travelled a lot more than 40,000 km. OP is an idiot - that won't help his chances either.

I tried to buy a "cheap" 246 Dino out of UK 5 years ago, under similar circumstances.

I then found the same car on Autotrader.co.uk

I called the dealer, who still had the car in stock  and was shocked that it was advertised elsewhere.

Turned out it was a scam.

This car if real will end up owing about $160-$170K (my quick estimation).  Prices on carsales are starting at $200K  and i am sure are negotiable in this climate.

If you can afford to pay (or borrow) this sort of money, an extra $30K is a piss in the ocean  for peace of mind.
