To commemorate 50 years of Lamborghini cars, the company has released a special edition of the Gallardo. A rear-wheel-drive, rather than the AWD found in the LP560-4, this car is not quite as audacious as the 50 Anniversario Aventador, but still stands out nonetheless.

Just 100 of these cars have been made globally, like the Anniversario Aventador. According to the Carsales description, only one of these was delivered to Australia. And it is for sale right now, for $475K at the Lamborghini dealership in Melbourne, so it is very exclusive indeed.

I've lost count of how many special/limited editions there have been of the Gallardo but I am a fan of this one. I presume this will be one of the last editions of the Gallardo, with the replacement (Cabrera) expected in the next 12-24 months.

Looks like the old shape nose and rear.  I guess they found a bunch of old bumpers out the back of the factory.

very likely and they realised people hated the new front and rear and didn't want to stop sales all together :D
