I am new to the Lamborghini scene, and have my sights on a E Gear SE. Does anyone know if they came with a choice of glass engine cover or not. The one Im looking at does not have one, has a full black roof and engine cover, but everything else seems to check out. Anything particular I should be checking with this vehicle. Any information would be appreciated. Thankyou.

The Gallardo SE came out in 2006 not 2005 [Edit: it was 2005 but was an MY06] and all had a glass engine cover, black roof, black rear deck lid and black mirrors. Titanium coloured Callisto wheels, and new interiors.

The car you are talking about sounds like it's made to look like one. See if it has a brake light in the rear spoiler. All 2006 cars onwards had this. Post up some pictures we'll be able to tell you in 5 seconds.

MHH is a member on here and he even used to have one.

Sounds like the real deal. I was certain that they all came with glass engine and callistos as standard, so curious if it doesn't have the glass lid.

Is it an import?

Yes, no pics on the Internet as yet. We are changing the clutch and giving it a service. You can call me anytime to arrange a viewing. I do have a ferrari customer that is very very interested at this time.
