Lamborghini stolen from Rosanna

Police are on the lookout for a Lamborghini sports car worth $200,000 that was stolen from a Rosanna address last week.

The 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo with registration YEC480, was stolen from a secure carport at a residence on Millicent Street around 8.20pm on Thursday 27 January.

The owner had advertised the car for sale online.

Police are on the hunt for a man who viewed the vehicle and agreed to purchase it the day before it was stolen.

He is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, 170cm tall and approximately 30-35 years-old.

He was driving a red VZ model Commodore and was accompanied by a blonde female believed to be aged in her mid 20s.

Police have released an image of the man they wish to speak to.

Shit you are on to me lol.

Would I really be bothered going to melb to steal a MY2004 gallardo with high Milage when i already have a MY2007 lol.

I'd like to know how it was stolen from the garage, did they break in and get the keys from the house or something?

I just don't know why would anyone steal such high profile cars and expect not to get caught? You get the attention as soon as you have that car rolled out on the street, no matter what colour the car is... Even if you part the car out, people are going to know that those parts are dirty and where are you going to sell them?

Overseas richie, i
It will most likely be used to repair a repairable write off, used for spares on a racing car, used as a racing car, shipped overseas as parts or back to Uk, japan, hong kong, Singapore, south Africa ect...

Don't forget it was originally an import from the uk, as far as they think the car is still over there but unregistered or something...

Either way the car won't be leaving from Melbourne port.

I still recon it will just be a numbers job with a repairable write off if it isn't recovered.
