True - I did spend a few seconds considering the validity of it's chronological relevancy seeing as I couldn't establish it from the article - however, who cares - it's the interwebs! :p

I'm pretty sure in France francs were officially phased out entirely in early 2002, but Switzerland still uses francs.  Reichenburg is in Switzerland.  So it's possible the article is current (but looking at the uniforms, maybe not).
