I sat in one once, and at 6 foot 4 I couldn't fit in. That was a sad realization that i'd never use one....

I'm 6ft 2 and a bit, and have an S in the shop right now.

I'm modifying the seat, without bastardising it, and I've gained over 6cm of head room without doing anything nasty to it.

I could drive it just about, before I mdded the seat, it'll be a breeze after.

I wouldn't buy an ozzie car right now.

US and Euro makes it a no brainer, import your own. That's what I just did with the customer. Took a day trip to San francisco to PPI it.

Please tell me this is not the Birdwood car ... Its the best car in the museum

From : http://www.classicandsportscar.com/news/classic-car-market-news/twiggy%E2%80%99s-miura-to-be-sold-in-oz

A Lamborghini Miura S bought by the model Twiggy – real name Lesley Lawson – will go under the hammer at Motorclassica, in Melbourne, Australia.

The Daily Express newspaper’s ‘face of 66’ acquired the car in 1969 and had it resprayed from white to its current lime-green with red-and-white-stripes finish.

The right-hand-drive car has been with its current owner since 1978 and this will be the first time it’s been offered to the public.

Now in its third year, RACV Motorclassica is held from 26-28 October and will feature special tributes to Sir Jack Brabham, the 60th Anniversary of Lotus and the 100th anniversary of the Victorian Motorshow.

Event director Paul Mathers said: “We are incredibly pleased to have this beautiful car consigned to our Collector Car Auction. This important vehicle has real international appeal and is of a calibre that epitomises what Motorclassica is all about.”
