I agree there is nothing ford or holden about the cars now.
but it dose allow the other racing to be held on a larger scale event, I go and watch racing at mallala but it is nothing like the spectical of when i watch the v8 racing at clipsal.
so let the masses pay for the smaller boutique (better) racing and take advantage of the event, It is better than having no spectators or atmosphere.

I have also just picked up a v8 ssv holden ute as my work car, I can understand the masses loving these cars. they are fast comfortable and full of gadgets, an afordable sports race car for the general public.
Then they can aim to get into a HSV.

I was actually having a look at ss-v ute myself. Pretty good cars for the money! Less headache in ownership than an import too.
