Even though the teasers are in the Jota thread, I figured this could have it's own thread. This is apparently a leaked photo of the concept to be released by Lamborghini at the Paris Motorshow.

Figured I could include the text. The only teaser pic I can't see fitting is the engine cover one with the 10 holes.

Nothing is confirmed at this stage, but we came across the official name of the new Lamborghini concept to be revealed at the Paris Motor Show on Thursday. The name of the concept is Lamborghini Sesto Elemento in English Lamborghini Sixth Element referring to the excessive use of carbon fiber. Secondly, a rather small picture has leaked out as well showing the new concept next to the Audi A7, Porsche 911 Speedster and two other vehicles.

The French website Blog Automobile received information concerning the vehicle. They state on their blog that the sports car concept is made entirely out of carbon fiber. The total weight is only 999kg. The vehicle is powered by a V10 engine reviewed from top to bottom. The top speed to be announced will be exceeding 350km/h (217,5mph) and a sprint from zero 0 to 100km/h (62mph) is done in just 2.5 seconds.

The concept shows the entire world the future of lightweight Lamborghini supersports cars. If you look closely at the pictures, it is immediately visible that Lamborghini used a familiar and destinct look for the concept.

All five teasers revealed over the past two weeks seem to fit the small picture in the top left hand corner. Overall the concept looks superb and the lines are strong. We can hardly wait to see the Italian concept for real!

Stay tuned for more from Paris in the upcoming days

Use a gallardo as a donor, the cala had the v10 anyway.. Although from memory it was rwd. I'm pretty sure the one or two they made are in private hands now.
I dont see why that wouldn't be met with support.

As far as I know, they only made one, and last I knew it was at the ItalDesign museum/headquarters.

+1

From all the information I have about this car(cos' I was secertly in love with it) there was only one completely functional prototype made and it was almost ready for production when Audi* took over in 1998 and shelved the project period.   :gnasher:

* VW group *

There is another one that I forgot about that is still getting around...................
