I was looking at this LP640 for sale on carsales

It says its an LP640, but to my eyes (and I could be wrong here), whilst it may have the LP640 tail lights, it has a pre LP rear bar, front bar, instrument cluster, wheels and air intakes (which are symmetrical, unlike the 640)

This isn't an LP640 at all is it?  Interesting they didn't include the displacement on the engine photo.

Well they do have a sold 2003 996 Carrera categorised as "Classic & Bluechip".

LP640 had the single merged exhaust ... that weird oblong shaped thing ... not the twin pipes.

Hmmm ... anyone got the VIN ... easy check with Lambo.
