About 6.10pm yesterday (Sunday 17 January 2016), a 54 year-old Sylvania Waters man in a Lamborghini was allegedly travelling on Captain Cook Bridge at 163km/h in a sign-posted 80km/h zone. A toddler was in the vehicle at the time. He was issued a penalty notice for exceed speed by more than 45km/h and his licence was seized and suspended for six months.

I dont get that. John Singleton proved in court that if your car is expensive enough that its legal to do that speed.

3 lane big open road. Stupid spot to do it tho as there are cops there all the time.

That bridge has a big rise in it so you only know if the police are on the other side once you come over the crest (and by that point it's too late if you're going that fast).
