I hope he wasn't put off by finding his passenger window smashed while we were in the restaurant.   The weird thing is no-one saw anyone near the car so we think it was a freak event.  Anyone heard of spontaneous window breakage before ?  :boggled:

yup.

It must be something to do with yellow cars!

I've seen two, and this is the 3rd... all yellow cars....  :tilt:

Seen this happen a few times with "Safety Glass" but it has mainly been back windows that have been under stress.

Why would a side door window do this, I would have thought it wouldn't have been under much stress???

if the glass or tempering was defective then it'll be in a prepetual state of stress...wouldn't take much to take it over the edge.

Thanks fellas - I should really point out that overall I just enjoyed the hell out of the day itself, the photography side of things fell by the wayside - but when you're going through a gazillion pics not worth posting that's what you remember at the time.

Can't wait till what... April? :p

Oh btw - a dude at work spotted me hanging around Hutt/Wakefield yesterday after brunch with camera in-hand, and he saw most of the Lambos scattered around the area.

His feedback - "That gold/bronze Lambo looked horrible - terrible colour!"  !!!!!
