Crashed exotics rarely get parted out in Australia, unlike America and Europe.

Hence my comment......................

Fascinating ... I actually just learned something from this forum today instead of just idle amusing banter!

I guess it move around in Sydney West.
The car was imported and Sport Auto Group was selling it first at one stage as a friend was thinking about it, but realize it was an import and he don't like import.

Just saw an AD in Trading post advertise as a 2006 LP640 which was the same with Sport Auto Group a while back.
Sure is the same car as there is not many Orange LP640 with the same spec.

The other two is not LP640 but seem like all of them have the LP640 Exhaust, seem like all import.

The red one has 28km but the seat seem a bit worn for 28km ???

They are all sold, I picked up the red one about 3 months ago now.  It's a genuine 28k car, the photo's were terrible and the wear is fairly consistent with the km, no cracking in the leather and the bolster's are firm and strong.  Gen 1 with some LP640 bits.  Rear lights and Exhaust will go off to a good home, I'll keep the brakes :p

Shannons don't give salvage rights on anything they think might have value as a wreck unless you pay extra on the premium. Even then they don't always do it.

I have SR on all my kit through Shannon's.

You would be paying extra for it.  In my experience it is impossible to get salvage rights on any new or near new exotic.  Insurance companies know very well that people overpay at auction for wrecks. Same thing applies for big dollar classic collectibles. Try getting salvage rights on your 1965 275 GTB.
I couldn't get it on my F50 either; but 360 Michelotto I got for free :p

It depends on the relationship I guess, I have full salvage rights and full NCB protected for life on all new and old kit with various vehicles and workshop equipment policies. Even my damaged 458 was covered with SR on laid up with pre existing damage.
