There's a GTR in Australia, which is even more rare and extreme, same colour as this one. Last time it was for sale it had a $1mil ask. Scuds mate in Qld owns it now.

Scud, I thought it was yellow as well.... so Reiter rebuilt it, then resprayed it into a different colour?

GTR is a race car, and it can never be registered though... at least a GT can be registered after so many years and can be driven on the road.

In Australia, I see more value to own a GT, but if you are betting your money as an investment globally, a GTR might be a better option (but still a race car which cannot be registered or used legally in many countries).

That's not the yellow Aust car that came new to the Smiths and they sold it. I thought Scud's mate had that yellow Aust car. Wasn't he going to bring it to the Outback last month?
