So as many are aware, we spent the weekend in Italy. Saturday and Sunday were at Milan and Lake Como for the Concourso (see the other thread) and on Sunday arvo we cruised (a bit of an understatement, Italian drivers don't cruise!) down to Modena to stay the night and visit the factory on Monday. If you are planning to visit any of the factories in the region, I can't recommend Modena enough, it is such a beautiful town, what you imagine an Italian town should be like. Great little side streets, food stalls in the many plaza's, little bars along the sides of the parks to sit with a cold beer and watch the many families walk and ride past. Absolutely beautiful.

The factory wasn't as romantic as last time I was there, mind you there was only 2 of us there last time whereas there was 3 tour groups getting ready to head in while we were there (and we couldn't sneak on to the back of one of the tours this time). Seemed a lot more commercialised then last time, it costs 12 to entry (well it does if their computers are working).

Anyway, to the cars. As you enter the gates there was a Superleggera and Performante, could handle that sitting in front of my house. In the museum was the array for Lambo's but the pick of the bunch upstairs is the Estoque. It is an epic car. It is huge, it dwarfed the Reventon and Diablo beside it, god only knows negotiating it around the school streets. Mind you it looks so good. I hope they build it. So here are some pics.

Yeah I was really taken with the Performante, still don't really see the point but it just looked so good.

Thanks for the Info, pics are great.

I booked tickets on Saturday for Europe in 2 weeks. Moving there mainly for a new business venture which i'm sure will take off here in Australia in the next few months.

I'll be bassed in Austria, Germany and South Tirol in Italy. I'll be bassed 300km from the Ferrari/masserati/ lambo factories so i'll be sure to check them out on a free weekend.

I'll still be online shitting people here from the other side of the world. 100mbit/sec downloads fibre optic internet it'll probably be faster from over there than internet here in Australia

Also bought a 60D and i'm learning how to take decent pics. Should be posting up some interesting spots and hopefully using nice camera techniques when I can... (seeing as this forum is mainly a spotted/camera bassed forum)
You can say I'm wrong, but my garage doesn't agree with that statement!!!

good luck on the move

nice camera, make sure you get some decent glass to go with it.  Kit lenses tend to be slow and bland

Just have the standard twin lense kit they come with at the moment. I'll start upgrading once I start getting decent with the camera.
