Yeah - back in the mid-90's as a teenager when I had no idea about cars I had a mate who flipped burgers at McDonalds and put together a mazda-something which was street legal and actually did 10 second quarters - it wasn't until many years later when I started paying attention to specs etc that I realised just how dam quick that is, and how underwhelming the whole point of ricerbois talking up their stupid little specs and drag-times etc.

There's only one measurement for fun.
