would a wheel chock support like this support enough weight evenly around the tyre to stop any issues...?

it would at least increase the contact area by 5x i would think....


edit: i see there were similar options in the link from b2, albeit different.

I don't know how many red Murcielagos there are in the country, but is it the same one I photographed in QLD in 2010?

No, there's 3 from what I can gather. 

That one which is the Singapore import e-gear, red with creme interior.
There's the 2005 red with black aussie delivered e-gear one which is on carsales atm for $299k
Then there's mine which is 2004 UK delivered manual with back interior
